How to apply to the Apprenticeship Program.
Minimum Requirements

 |
Must be 17 years of age. |
|
|
Is a resident of Cook, DuPage, Grundy, Iroquois, Kane, Kankakee, Kendall, Lake, McHenry, or Will county. |
|
|
Has an original Social Security Card or a receipt showing duplicate card has been applied for. |
|
|
Must be physically fit to work as a carpenter.

RESIDENTIAL PROCESS
Prior to employment, the employee must present the following documents in person at the office of Local #1307 to receive a 90-day permit

Letter of request for a 90 day permit and evaluation from the Employer |
|
|
A money order payable to "Chicago District Council of Carpenters" in the amount of $221.00 |
|
|
You must present all of the required documents in person to the office of Local #1307.

COMMERCIAL PROCESS
Prior to employment, the employee must report to your Local Union office to be referred for evaluation at the Apprentice Training Program
