The Carpenter Training Center (CTC) provides the traning for 40,000 Pre-Apprentice, Apprentice, and Journeyman Union Carpenters in the central region of the Chicago Regional Council of Carpenters (CRCC). The Chicago Regional counties are:
Cook, DuPage, Grundy, Iroquois, Kane, Kankakee, Kendall, Lake, McHenry, and Will.


The CTC is a joint trusteeship of the CRCC Union with the residential and commercial union contractors of our ten counties. Five centers make up the CTC. They are the following:

Every year 7,000 of our members take advantage of 300 evening and weekend classes offered in our Carpenter Skill Advancement Program. These programs are taught in several languages and are offered at our five training centers.
