The Carpenter Training Center (CTC) provides training for 40,000 Pre-Apprentice, Apprentice, and Journeyman Union Carpenters in the central region of the Chicago Regional Council of Carpenters (CRCC). The counties in the central region of the Chicago Regional Council are:

Cook, DuPage, Grundy, Iroquois, Kane, Kankakee, Kendall, Lake, McHenry, and Will.

The Carpenter Training Center is a joint trusteeship of the Chicago Regional Council of Carpenters Union with the residential and commercial union contractors of our ten counties. Three centers make up the Carpenter Training Center. They are the following:

Every year, 6,000 of our members take advantage of 250 evening and weekend classes offered in our Carpenter Skill Advancement Program. These programs are taught in several languages and are offered at our three training centers.
